Job Overview:

• As a Hostel Warden at [CBSE School Name], you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and supportive living environment for students residing in the school hostel. This position involves overseeing the daily activities of the hostel, ensuring the well-being and safety of students, and maintaining a conducive atmosphere for academic and personal development.

Preferred Candidate:

• Candidates from an Army background are preferred.

Responsibilities:

Supervision and Security:

• Monitor the overall security of the hostel premises.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students residing in the hostel.
• Enforce and maintain discipline within the hostel.

Student Welfare:

• Provide emotional support and guidance to students.
• Address and resolve any concerns or issues raised by students.
• Promote a sense of community and a positive hostel culture.

Daily Operations:

• Coordinate and oversee daily routines and activities within the hostel.
• Manage the allocation of rooms and maintenance of hostel facilities.
• Collaborate with the school administration on hostel-related matters.

Health and Hygiene:

• Monitor the cleanliness and hygiene standards in the hostel.
• Ensure that students follow health and safety protocols.

Communication:

• Facilitate effective communication between students, parents, and school authorities.
• Conduct regular meetings with hostel residents to address concerns and disseminate information.

Emergency Response:

• Be prepared to handle emergencies and coordinate with relevant authorities.
• Implement evacuation procedures if necessary.

Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate records of hostel residents, incidents, and activities.
• Prepare reports for school management as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational institution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of CBSE rules and regulations related to hostels is a plus.
• First aid and emergency response training would be beneficial.

Salary:
