We are looking for a skilled Chartered Accountant to join our merchant banking firm in a multifaceted role focused on handling IPOs for new companies, conducting audits, filing GST returns, and producing research reports for listed companies. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for the following:

IPO Facilitation:

• Lead the process of filing IPO applications for new companies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and coordinating with relevant stakeholders to streamline the process.

Audit Management:

• Conduct thorough financial audits of our clients’ businesses, analyzing financial statements, internal controls, and accounting practices to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.

GST Filing:

• Oversee the timely and accurate filing of GST returns for our firm and our clients, staying updated on GST regulations and advising on any changes or updates that may affect our operations.

Financial Analysis:

• Perform in-depth financial analysis of listed companies, including financial statement analysis, ratio analysis, and industry benchmarking, to generate comprehensive research reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Stay abreast of regulatory changes and updates related to IPOs, accounting standards, taxation, and GST, ensuring that our firm and our clients remain compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert financial advice and guidance throughout the IPO process, audits, and other financial engagements.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, compliance, and investment banking teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and deliverables.

Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) Qualification: Hold a valid Chartered Accountant qualification with a strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and taxation laws.

Experience:

• Proven experience in handling IPO filings, conducting financial audits, and filing GST returns, preferably within a merchant banking or financial services environment.

Analytical Skills:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, conduct comprehensive financial analysis, and generate actionable insights.

Attention to Detail:

• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify discrepancies, errors, and compliance issues.

Communication Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
