Job Description
Business Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining BI solutions that support the decision-making processes of a business

Responsibilities:

• Work with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytical needs and translate them into technical requirements.
•  Develop and maintain clear, concise, and accurate documentation, including business process maps, use cases, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Identify and evaluate potential risks and issues associated with proposed solutions and develop mitigation strategies.
• Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and data visualizations to support business needs.
• Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics that enable business users to make informed decisions.
• Monitor data quality, troubleshoot data issues, and perform data validation to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
• Collaborate with development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure timely and accurate implementation.
• Facilitate effective communication and foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including business users, project managers, developers, and senior management.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure delivered solutions meet the defined requirements and quality standards.
• Train business users on BI tools and provide ongoing support for their use.
• Stay up to date with the latest BI trends and technologies and recommend new tools and techniques that can improve the BI capabilities of the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing BI solutions.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and database technologies.
• Experience with ETL processes and tools such as SSIS or Informatica.
• Proficiency in SQL and database programming.
• Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices and principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
