Job : Area Sales Manager – Cattle Feed Company
Location: Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, India
Job Summary:
The Senior Sales Officer for a cattle feed company is responsible for driving sales in the Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh regions. They will be involved in implementing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and managing relationships with key customers. The role requires a strong understanding of the cattle feed industry and the ability to work independently to achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets in the Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh regions.
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends in the cattle feed industry.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the region.
- Meet with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations to customers.
- Negotiate contracts and terms of sales agreements with customers.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance and market trends to senior management.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and production, to meet customer needs and improve sales performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, agriculture, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the cattle feed industry.
- Strong knowledge of cattle feed products, market trends, and customer needs in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh regions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
