Business Development Executive
Job Description
Overview:
We are hiring for a Business Development Manager profile for the manufacturer of battery-operated passenger and commercial vehicles. The company has its manufacturing unit in Meerut, UP and have dealership network in Western UP and Bundelkhand region. The company has launched new E-Rickshaw and E-kart models and looking to expand in North India.
- Identifies business opportunities by identifying leads for dealership prospects and evaluating their position in the local market; researching and analysing sales options.
- Develops business by identifying leads and selling dealership prospects; guiding and assisting new dealers during onboarding process; maintaining relationships with clients.
- Pitches and sells products to existing dealers in the market by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects.
- Maintains relationships with dealers by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
- Generate regular sales from existing dealers and maintain good relationships with the clients.
- Identify B2B sales opportunities, pitch the product offerings and close the deals.
- Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Prepares reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information.
Qualification:
- Proven track record of business development for same or similar product offerings
- Proven track record of achieving BD and sales targets
Skills:
- Self-motivated and driven by targets
- The ability to influence and negotiate with others
- Resilient, perseverant, and good communication skills
- Commercial awareness and numerical skills
Salary:
- 3 – 6 LPA (plus attractive sales linked incentives)
Experience:
- 3 – 4 Years (in EV industry)
