Production Manager

 Job Summary : The Production Manager will oversee all technical, logistical, and operational aspects of event production for Event management company. The role demands strong organizational skills, hands-on experience with event setups, and the ability to manage teams, vendors, and resources effectively. The ideal candidate must ensure that events are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest production standards. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Plan, organize, and manage all aspects of event production including setup, staging, lighting, and audio-visual requirements. 

• Coordinate with the event and creative teams to understand project scope and technical needs

• Source, negotiate, and manage vendors for fabrication, logistics, technical support, and manpower.

 • Supervise on-site production activities ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion. 

• Prepare production schedules, layouts, and manage material movement. 

• Inspect venues and determine technical feasibility and design implementation.

 • Handle budgeting, cost tracking, and inventory management for production materials.

 • Coordinate with designers, decorators, and logistics partners for smooth execution.

 • Identify and troubleshoot technical and operational issues during setup or event execution. 

• Ensure post-event dismantling and closure activities are managed efficiently.

 Required Skills & Competencies 

• Strong understanding of event production, logistics, and technical setup. 

• Excellent coordination and project management skills. 

• Good leadership abilities to manage on-ground teams and vendors.

 • Knowledge of event materials, fabrication processes, and layout planning. 

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. 

• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. 

• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with production management tools. 

• Knowledge of safety standards and compliance in event setups.

 Qualification & Experience 

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Event Management, Production, or related field. 

• Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience in event production or technical operations. 

• Experience in managing large-scale setups and vendor teams. 

• Strong vendor network in Gwalior or nearby regions is an advantage.
