Job Description

Required Qualifications:

  • A degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • MERN Stack Development experience of 3-7 years.
  • Consumer Web Development Experience for High-Traffic, Public Facing web
    applications.
  • Creating secure RESTful-based web services in XML and JSON, JavaScript, TypeScript,
    jQuery.
  • Experience creating front end applications using HTML5, SCSS.
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript Development on both client and
    server-side.
  • In-depth knowledge of NodeJS, ExpressJS or Restify.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills Bonus skills.
  • Continuous integration (Jenkins/Docker) and version control (SVN, Git).
  • Experience using testing frameworks.
  •  Experience with cloud technologies.
  •  MySQL and/or PostgreSQL experience.
  • Experience on NoSQL databases.
  • Experience in application/web servers.

Bonus skills – GraphQL, Docker, Unix, Git, Continuous Integration, NoSQL databases,Django

Your role in this journey

  • You will be part of the team which is fully responsible for creating and maintaining
    applications that supports the market research team.
  • Together with your team members you will design, implement, evolve, and maintain
    our backend services.
  • Ensure a high level of test coverage and high confidence when deploying changes.
  • Ensure scalable data persistence, either when storing the data in MySQL or PostgreSQL
    or by exploring and proposing new state of the art technologies when appropriate.
  • Develop reactive user interfaces using Angular, translating designs/wireframes into
    high quality code and build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
  • Build and maintain backend, middle-tier, and web user experiences using Node.js,
    Express.js, SQL, HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, JavaScript, and other web technologies
  • Build and maintain applications with micro services-based architecture
  • Support and monitor production systems.
  • Deploy our applications on our internal CI/CD platform.
  • Apply best practices and continuously learn and share your thoughts with your peers.

Good to know:

  •  Basic Ubuntu commands.
  • Git understanding and Git commands knowledge on Ubuntu.
  • Understanding EC2 Instances and having deployment capabilities.
  • Good hands-on Nginx.
  • NPM Package creation & Integration and Deployment understanding.
  • Good in Designing.

Must know:

  • How to create MUI component on Next.js , SCSS.
  • Able to communicate in English with European and US clients.
