Job Description:

  • As the Production Planning Manager, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our production processes and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products to our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include:
  1. Contract Management: Oversee all aspects of contract management, including negotiation, development, and execution. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and terms to meet customer requirements and expectations.
  2. Production Planning: Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and workflows to meet production targets and customer deadlines. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and logistics, to optimize resource allocation and utilization.
  3. Quality Assurance: Maintain strict quality control standards and procedures throughout the production process. Collaborate with the Quality Control team to implement quality assurance protocols and address any quality issues or concerns.
  4. Labour Management: Manage labour resources effectively to ensure adequate staffing levels and optimize workforce productivity. Coordinate with HR and production supervisors to recruit, train, and retain skilled workers.
  5. Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and material availability to support production schedules and prevent stockouts or excess inventory. Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
  6. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization to enhance production efficiency, reduce lead times, and increase cost-effectiveness. Implement continuous improvement initiatives and best practices to drive operational excellence.
  7. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and production metrics to assess performance against targets and identify areas for improvement. Implement corrective actions as needed to address performance gaps and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in production planning, contract management, and operations leadership in the fabrication industry.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication processes, equipment, and materials.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Salary:

  • 30k-35k/month
