Key Responsibilities:

Product Design:

• Create detailed mechanical designs for new products, considering factors such as functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct feasibility studies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project requirements.

CAD Modeling and Simulation:

• Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to develop 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical components and systems.
• Perform simulations and analyses to validate design concepts and optimize performance.

Prototyping and Testing:

• Coordinate the fabrication of prototypes and conduct thorough testing to validate design specifications.
• Analyze test data, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on designs accordingly.

Material Selection:

• Research and recommend appropriate materials for mechanical components, considering factors such as strength, durability, and cost.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

• Work closely with electrical engineers, software developers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components into overall product designs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize designs for production efficiency.

Documentation:

• Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, drawings, and test reports.
• Ensure that all design activities comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical design.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and design optimizations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

• Fresher’s can also apply.

Salary Range:

• 10,000 to 18,000/month
